Spin is a form of exercise done on stationery bikes with no complicated moves to learn and music that begs your legs to pedal!
A typical class involves Tanya as the instructor at the front of the class who leads the participants through routines that are designed to simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors.
Some of the movements and positions include hill climbs, sprints and interval training. You are kept motivated by the instructor, the music, the lights and the people around you. Each person in the class can choose their own goals for the session.
These classes are done in a specially designed air conditioned Spin Studio. The studio is dark with disco lights which flash in time with the music. The studio is equipped with 30 Schwinn bikes which are renowned for beginning the best spin bikes on the market.
Spinning burns a serious amount of calories. It is suggested that you do a minimum of two spin classes a week to dramatically increase your fitness level and improve your body’s shape. Getting into the best shape of your life has never been more fun!
This class is designed for men and women of all ages and ability.
